Of compulsions…

These days I’m a compulsive blogger. It’s almost as if I HAVE TO blog. For the longest time, the very last thing I did before “dying” for the night, was read. Now I blog.

Put the baby to sleep. Gossip with the hubster. Read. Blog. ‘Tis the new routine.

Surely, it won’t last for long.

I picked up Anna Karenina last night, again. For the two hundred and eighteenth time …or thereabouts 🙂

I just put it down.

I wonder, will such books be ever written again?

“Rummaging in our souls, we often dig up something that ought to have lain there unnoticed. ”

“I’ve always loved you, and when you love someone, you love the whole person, just as he or she is, and not as you would like them to be.”

“Sometimes she did not know what she feared, what she desired: whether she feared or desired what had been or what would be, and precisely what she desired, she did not know.”

Leo Tolstoy, Anna Karenina

Food for thought folks, food for thought!

Good night to all my folks in in the sub- continent and the middle- east. And good- whatever- else to all the other lovely folks!

Till next time…

Hopefully with a more “substantial” post.
